Network Admin - Fortinet - Full Time, Permanent...with a Pension!

Our client has asked us to identify an experienced networking pro with expert level Fortinet skills. You'll handle both strategic and hands on support for Fortinet (Fort Analyzer, Packet captures, etc) while charting the continuous evolution of the network. Security, scalability, and availability are your calling cards. The work will be done 100% onsite in Schuamburg, IL. This opportunity includes a true pension plan...incredibly rare and life changing.

Your Mission

  • Administer, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls and security appliances.
  • Manage and support enterprise routers, switches, and network infrastructure.
  • Provide Tier III (highest-level) technical support for network-related issues.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
  • Implement and maintain network security policies and best practices.
  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

You Must Have

  • Expert-level experience with Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
  • Network security, firewall management, VPNs, VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WAN/LAN technologies, and network protocols.
  • Microsoft Azure networking and cloud infrastructure.
  • Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE, FCSS, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree
