About Your Role

As a Terraform Engineer, you will design, build, and automate scalable cloud infrastructure on the Azure platform, supporting enterprise applications and platform services. You will partner with architecture, development, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. This role focuses on driving automation, improving reliability, and enabling efficient cloud operations.

What you'll do:

• Partner with architecture and development teams to design and review Azure Landing Zone infrastructure aligned to application requirements
• Deploy and provision Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
• Configure Azure services including compute, networking, storage, and PaaS offerings to support scalable environments
• Implement monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics to ensure system visibility and performance
• Enforce security controls including IAM, access policies, and data encryption to meet compliance standards
• Automate infrastructure lifecycle management using Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, PowerShell, and Azure CLI
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure high availability and data protection
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, optimize performance, and document solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Experience you'll need to have:

• 6+ years of experience developing and deploying infrastructure using Terraform
• 4+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture
• 2+ years of experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools
• 2+ years of experience with scripting tools such as PowerShell or Azure CLI
• 2+ years of experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics
• 2+ years of experience working with Git version control, including resolving merge conflicts
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Prior experience designing or implementing Azure Landing Zones or enterprise-scale cloud environments
• Experience with Azure PaaS services and cloud-native architecture patterns
• Experience with performance optimization, monitoring, and caching strategies in cloud environments
• Experience supporting production environments with troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Experience designing or implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions in Azure

How you'll work:

• Fiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech, this role is on-site Monday through Friday

• This role requires flexibility during non-standard and/or overnight hours
• This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment

Travel:

• Approximately 5% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected

Salary Range

These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
