Job description

Serve as a Platform Storage Engineer Design, deploy, maintain, and secure platform storage infrastructure Ensure storage systems meet performance, and availability requirements Respond to incidents and service requests related to storage infrastructure Perform routine health checks, capacity planning, and performance analysis Execute firmware upgrades, patches, and configuration changes as directed Qualifications: BS in Computer Science, IT, or related 5+ years of storage engineering experience Knowledge of Linux distributions, including User management, security hardening, and system troubleshooting
Understanding of the following: Fibre Channel, Fibre Channel over Ethernet
iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS, NVMe/TCP, NVMe/RoCE
Experience with ext4, XFS, Btrfs and knowing when to use each Knowledge of RAID levels and disk management techniques Experience deploying, configuring, and managing SAN and NAS solutions Hands-on experience with major vendors like Dell EMC, NetApp, or HPE Nimble
Experience setting up synchronous/asynchronous data replication for disaster recovery Experience using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix To track performance metrics and identify bottlenecks
