Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Database Infrastructure Engineer / Azure SQL Database Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise SQL Server environments in Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server administration, Azure Cloud, Windows Server, PowerShell, SSIS, automation, performance tuning, and High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR). This role involves database infrastructure management, production support, automation, and collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Cloud, and Windows Server environments.
  • Automate database administration tasks using PowerShell and SSIS.
  • Manage SQL Server Agent jobs, ETL workflows, backups, and deployments.
  • Monitor database performance, optimize queries, and resolve production issues.
  • Implement and support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
  • Support IIS, .NET applications, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing database environments.
 
Required Skills
  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience with:
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • Azure Cloud & Windows Server
    • PowerShell and SSIS automation
