We have a new GCP Cloud Engineer opening with our client in Wilmington, DE – MUST be onsite for hybrid 3 days/week (that is the challenge).
Length: 6-month CTH
US Work Status: Preferably US Citizens and GC holders
Location: 3 days onsite weekly in Wilmington, DE
Required Skills:
·         4+ years of hands-on experience operating Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in production, including services such as Cloud Run, GKE, VPC networking, and Secret Manager.
·         2+ years of experience designing and governing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, including reusable module development and organizational standards.
·         Demonstrated experience owning CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for cloud-native workloads.
·         Need the architecture experience  
·         Deep technical expertise in Google Cloud Platform, including networking, IAM, Cloud Run, GKE, security controls, and observability.
·         Strong understanding of enterprise cloud security, segmentation, and blast-radius reduction strategies.
·         Expert-level Terraform proficiency, including state management, module versioning, and GitOps-based workflows.
·         Ability to confidently challenge designs, push back on stakeholders when needed, and defend technical decisions in security- and compliance-sensitive environments.
·Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across cloud, network, and identity domains.
