Contract to Hire Security Engineer

Our client is seeking a Contract to Hire Senior Security Engineer to help protect enterprise systems, applications, and data from evolving cyber threats. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.


Key responsibilities include developing security architectures, managing identity and access controls, implementing cloud security and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, automating security processes, and monitoring security infrastructure. The role also partners closely with IT, cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure consistent security practices across the organization. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security engineers and IT teams.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Cloud Security, or DevSecOps engineering.

  • Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, IAM, PAM, firewalls, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.

  • Must have a strong background in automation with Python or Powershell

  • Experience developing and deploying security solutions to mitigate cyber threats.

  • Hands-on experience with incident response and security investigations.

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field.

  • CISSP, CISM, Azure Security Engineer, or similar certifications preferred.

  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
