Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, governance, and operational management of an enterprise Azure cloud environment. This role focuses on building secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure while driving Azure migrations, infrastructure automation, disaster recovery, and cloud security initiatives.

This opportunity is based in Mechanicsville, VA, and is open to candidates within a 100-mile radius of Mechanicsville, VA. The client is only considering candidates who can work without requiring present or future employment sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and govern enterprise Azure infrastructure and cloud resources
• Lead Azure cloud migration initiatives from on-premises environments
• Manage enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
• Implement Azure networking, security policies, and governance standards
• Monitor and optimize Azure environments using Azure Monitor and observability tools
