The Opportunity:
Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As an experienced cloud computing infrastructure architect, you know how to take advantage of cloud capabilities. Here, you'll oversee our team of experienced professionals and use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to guide your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We're looking for someone like you to help protect citizens.
You'll collaborate closely with fellow cloud architects and engineers across Office 365, Azure, GCP, AWS and OCI to design, define, and operationalize new cloud services. You'll have the chance to broaden your experience within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal cloud labs you'll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients' problems, and you'll partner with stakeholders and lead your team to deliver the right technical solutions. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you'll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience delivering cloud services to support application tenants in a production environment
• 2+ years of experience working with cloud teams to architect and deliver cloud services
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, high-availability architecture, FinOps, and support models
• Ability to act independently to identify, mitigate, and communicate challenges, risks, and opportunities
• Ability to create, communicate, and present at multiple levels of detail including Technical, Project Management, and Government oversight
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience supporting a multi-cloud environment
• Experience supporting highly available and highly scalable operations in an intense production environment
• Knowledge of multiple cloud environments including AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Cloud environments architecture Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
