Job description

We are seeking Azure O&M Support Engineers to provide administration, operations, and sustainment support for Azure Stack Hub (ASH) and associated systems. You will be responsible for deployment, configuration, monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, and automation of critical cloud environments, ensuring they remain secure, compliant, and highly available.ย 
This role anticipates some travel (up to 10%).ย 
Responsibilities
  • Deploy Azure resources such as Azure Virtual Machines, Key Vaults, and other core Azure resources using Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Monitor and maintain Azure infrastructure, addressing performance issues and optimizing cloud resources
  • Implement and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep
  • Review, refine,ย and troubleshoot new and existing IaC within the environment
  • Design, implement, and manage secure enclave environments within Microsoft Azure
  • Ensure the stability, performance, and security of Azure enclave systems
  • Manage identity and access management (IAM) policies, ensuring least privilege access across enclave systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance cloud solutions
  • Troubleshoot complex issues within Azure environments, providing escalation support as needed
  • Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes
  • Azure AVD image building and rotation via automation
  • Design, develop, deploy, and manageย container orchestration through Kubernetesย 
  • Configureย and manageย Azure Kubernetes Service clusters and the underlying infrastructure
  • Automateย deployment, scale, and manageย containerized applications
  • Provide support in assisting customers installing software onto baseline desktops using an automation first mentality (DSC or Packer)
  • Partner with leadership to shape engineering strategy and innovation
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Requirements
  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud administration and development, with a focus on Microsoft Azure
  • Experience working in secure enclave environments and familiarity with security compliance frameworksย 
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Azure DevOps, ARM templates, or Bicep
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and other scripting languages
  • Strong experience with automating the deployment of Azure resources via code
  • Strong knowledge of YAML, Json, Bicep and PowerShellย 
  • Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent are highly desirable
  • Ability to contribute to key decisions and complex problem-solving
  • Ability to continuously improve development process and team velocity
