Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to support their CI/CD pipeline initiatives. The role involves designing, building, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines while ensuring best practices and quality controls are applied in the development process.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Hands on automation skills designing, building, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines
โ€ข Support the adoption of CICD framework for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services, perform DevOps health assessment, identify gaps and execute recommendations
โ€ข Build and support highly available data pipelines and related integrations
โ€ข Design, build, and implement reusable YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps while adhering to best practices
โ€ข Perform analysis of DevOps practices, identify gaps and impediments for continuous integration and delivery
โ€ข Engage with information Security and augment the CI/CD framework with DevSecOps and standardized security tools and controls
โ€ข Develop and apply quality controls and gates to the build, test, and deploy process while establishing Definition of Ready and Definition of Done to ensure quality of delivery
โ€ข Be a member of Center of Excellence for DevOps practices and develop policies, standards, guidelines, governance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers
โ€ข Provide guidance, coaching, training on build, test, and release management best practices
โ€ข Collaborate on and and provide input into the CICD roadmap, identify gaps and dependencies
โ€ข Work directly with business leadership to understand strategic objectives; propose and develop solutions for program increments
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Engineering, related field or equivalent experience
โ€ข 3-5 years' experience in creating continuous integration and delivery pipelines leveraging cloud native architectures on Microsoft Azure Cloud
โ€ข 3-5 years' hands on experience with Databricks, Data Factory, DataLake, CosmosDB, Function apps, SQL
โ€ข 3-5 years' Experience with agile delivery, SAFe, and DevOps frameworks
โ€ข 3-5 years' Experience with DevOps Tools for plan, build, test, release and monitor
โ€ข Experience with PowerShell scripting, Bash, YAML, Json, GIT, Rest API, and Azure Resource Management (ARM) templates
โ€ข Experience with Git flow branching strategy
โ€ข Experience with implementing standards and best practices for the CI/CD framework
โ€ข Knowledge of security scanning/monitoring tools and integration with pipeline
โ€ข Extensive experience with scripting and debugging on Linux and Windows environments
Preferred:
โ€ข DevOps-CI/CD Experience with Azure resources related to Data, Analytics & AI
โ€ข Microsoftยฎ Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Developer Associate
