Job description

Position Overview :

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
  • Support backlog grooming, prioritization, and sprint planning.
  • Track metrics such as velocity, burndown, and team capacity using Azure DevOps.
  • Coach team members on Agile principles and best practices.
  • Identify and remove impediments, escalating when needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between the project team and stakeholders.
  • Ensure risks, issues, and scope changes are communicated and managed.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies across projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 7+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development environments.
  • Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • Agile Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and servant leadership principles.
  • Tools: Experience with Azure DevOps (or similar Agile project management tools).
  • Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and maintain high standards of documentation and deliverables.
  • Communication: Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Other Tools: Proficiency in MS Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Preferred (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Background in system modernization, legacy replacement, or consolidation projects.
  • Familiarity with SRP water/flood irrigation systems or experience in the utility sector.
  • Exposure to scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
  • Experience with third-party system integrations.
  • Knowledge of Team Data Science Process (TDSP) in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
