As a Sr. Software Developer in Test - Mobile Platform Automation, you'll help drive Concora Credit's Mission to enable customers to Do More with Credit - every single day.

As a Senior SDET focused on mobile automation, you will own the strategy and implementation of automated testing for our React Native application, with an emphasis on executing tests on physical devices. You will design and build reliable automation, integration testing into our CI/CD pipelines, and help establish the foundation for scalable mobile test infrastructure. Working closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to build robust automation test suites and craft effective test solutions that ensure high-quality product delivery. This role combines technical expertise with collaborative teamwork in an agile environment. While you will have plenty of opportunities to learn from other team members, your main responsibilities will be to emphasize automation and execute it to ensure the highest level of quality.

Responsibilities
As our Sr. Software Developer in Test - Mobile Platform Automation you will:
  • Design, build, and maintain automated tests for our React Native mobile application.
  • Implement and support testing on physical Android and iOS devices.
  • Own and evolve mobile test infrastructure (including device management as we scale)
  • Integrated automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
  • Improve test reliability by identifying and reducing flakiness.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve testability and coverage.
  • Establish best practices for mobile test automation and execution.

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
    • Mobile test automation using tools such as Appium and/or Detox.
    • Testing mobile applications on Android and/or iOS devices, including debugging and device interaction.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with common test frameworks like Jest and React Native Testing Library.
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks (not just writing tests).
  • Experience managing physical device labs or running tests at scale across multiple devices/OS versions.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
  • Experience troubleshooting test failures and environmental issues.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
