DMV Title Clerk (Multi-State Experience)
Location: North Scottsdale, AZ

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced DMV Title Clerk with multi-state title processing expertise to join our North Scottsdale team. This role is responsible for accurately processing vehicle titles and registrations across multiple states, ensuring compliance with varying state regulations, and delivering exceptional internal and external customer service.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of title procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage high-volume workloads with precision.
Key Responsibilities

  • Process vehicle title transactions including new titles, transfers, duplicate titles, and corrections
  • Manage multi-state title and registration requirements, ensuring compliance with state-specific DMV regulations
  • Review and verify documents for accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance
  • Submit title applications to appropriate state agencies within required timelines
  • Track title status and follow up on outstanding or rejected applications
  • Maintain accurate records of all title and registration transactions
  • Handle electronic and manual title processing systems across various states
  • Work directly with customers, dealerships, lenders, and internal teams to resolve title discrepancies
  • Ensure all paperwork complies with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Support audits and reporting requirements related to title processing
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive customer information
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of DMV/title clerk experience
  • Proven experience handling multi-state title processing (highly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of DMV regulations, titling laws, and registration procedures across multiple states
  • Experience with title management systems (e.g., Dealertrack, CVR, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in automotive dealership, fleet management, or finance/lending environments
  • Arizona DMV experience plus additional states (e.g., CA, TX, NV, CO, FL, etc.)
Schedule
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Flexibility for an earlier start schedule is available based on candidate preference and business needs
