What You'll Do

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and seamless guest experience by:

  • Greeting guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
  • Efficiently checking guests in and out while ensuring accuracy in reservations and billing.
  • Providing information about hotel amenities, services, dining options, and local attractions.
  • Anticipating guest needs and resolving questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Processing room reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
  • Answering multi-line phone calls and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Maintaining cash handling procedures and balancing your shift accurately.
  • Collaborating with Housekeeping, Engineering and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Promoting Marriott Bonvoy membership and hotel services when appropriate.
  • Maintaining guest confidentiality and following all Marriott and hotel policies.
  • Creating memorable experiences by recognizing special occasions and personalizing each guest interaction.
  • Assisting with administrative duties and ensuring the Front Desk remains clean, organized, and professional at all times.
  • Acting MOD while working.

  • Previous customer service experience required; hotel front desk experience preferred.
  • Marriott, PMS, MARSHA, or other hotel property management system experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional while handling challenging situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as business needs require.
