About our property:

The Marriott Phoenix Chandler, located in Chandler- a Southeast suburb of Phoenix, is the newest Full Service Marriott in the state of Arizona! Featuring 264 Guest Rooms and over 21,000 sq ft of event space, this hotel has the largest Ballroom in Chandler, AZ! Within the hotel, Proof '19 features handcrafted cocktails, local beers, and Southwest cuisine. We Proudly Brew Starbucks Cafe serves a morning pick-me-up and variety of breakfast options. The hotel features modern decor and is situated within the Price Road Corridor, near some of Arizona's largest employers, including Fortune 100 & 500 companies.

What You'll Do

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and seamless guest experience by:

• Greeting guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Efficiently checking guests in and out while ensuring accuracy in reservations and billing.
• Providing information about hotel amenities, services, dining options, and local attractions.
• Anticipating guest needs and resolving questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Processing room reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
• Answering multi-line phone calls and directing inquiries appropriately.
• Maintaining cash handling procedures and balancing your shift accurately.
• Collaborating with Housekeeping, Engineering and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Promoting Marriott Bonvoy membership and hotel services when appropriate.
• Maintaining guest confidentiality and following all Marriott and hotel policies.
• Creating memorable experiences by recognizing special occasions and personalizing each guest interaction.
• Assisting with administrative duties and ensuring the Front Desk remains clean, organized, and professional at all times.
• Acting MOD while working.

What are we looking for?

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest service.
• Previous customer service experience required; hotel front desk experience preferred.
• Marriott, PMS, MARSHA, or other hotel property management system experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional while handling challenging situations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as business needs require.
