Job description

Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Cloud Operations Support Specialist to join our team. You will serve as a key point of contact for technical support, ensuring the stability, compliance, and efficiency of our cloud-based platforms. The ideal candidate balances hands-on technical troubleshooting with a rigorous approach to service management and documentation in a regulated enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support: Provide Tier 1 technical support for cloud applications, resolving incidents and managing service requests efficiently.
Cloud Administration: Perform operational tasks within AWS (e.g., IAM, S3, RDS, Route 53) and monitor system health via CloudWatch.
Service & Change Management: Own issues from inception to resolution using ServiceNow and Jira, ensuring full compliance with change management and access control protocols.
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records for audits, including adherence to CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes and secret management standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive rapid issue resolution.
Qualifications
Proven experience in service management or operational support within enterprise or regulated environments.
Hands-on experience providing Tier 1 technical support for cloud platforms.
Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services and networking fundamentals (IAM, VPC, etc.).
Proficiency with ServiceNow for incident/request management and Jira for task tracking.
Excellent communication skills with an ownership mindset-you don't just report issues; you solve them.
A meticulous approach to documentation and adherence to compliance frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect.
Automation: Scripting experience (e.g., Python) and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
Advanced Tech: Experience supporting AI/ML-enabled applications or monitoring/observability toolsets.
