Job description

We seek a highly experienced SAP Digital Manufacturing Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Digital Manufacturing solutions, ensuring efficient and integrated shop floor execution, and providing expert guidance on SAP Digital Manufacturing best practices.
Key job responsibilities
* Manage and support manufacturing execution processes in SAP Digital Manufacturing.
* Configure and maintain SAP Digital Manufacturing components such as Production Operator Dashboards (PODs), work centers/resources, routings, work instructions, and data collection.
* Conduct solution assessments and implement process improvements and mitigation strategies for manufacturing execution challenges.
* Ensure compliance with internal manufacturing standards, process controls, and operational requirements.
* Lead SAP Digital Manufacturing projects, including implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements.
* Develop and maintain solution design documents, process documentation, procedures, and support materials.
* Monitor SAP Digital Manufacturing processes and integrations for failures or process issues and take corrective actions as necessary.
* Conduct regular system and process reviews and provide detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
* Work closely with other IT, business, operations, plant, and integration teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP Digital Manufacturing with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
* Provide training and support to end users on SAP Digital Manufacturing-related processes and issues.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Expertise in SAP manufacturing, MES, or SAP Digital Manufacturing implementation and support.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Digital Manufacturing concepts, including production execution, PODs, work instructions, data collection, nonconformance, resource/work center setup, and manufacturing process integration.
- Experience with integration of SAP Digital Manufacturing with SAP S/4HANA / ECC, SAP BTP, and other shop floor or enterprise systems.
- Proficiency in manufacturing master data and transactional processes, including materials, BOMs, routings/recipes, production/process orders, and confirmations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
- Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non-SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
