We are looking for a strong, hands-on Software Development Manager to lead the AWS Resource Access Manager (RAM) team. RAM is the service that lets customers securely share AWS resources across accounts and organizations, and our vision is bold: make every AWS resource type shareable.
Today, RAM supports dozens of resource types. Tomorrow, we want every resource in the AWS ecosystem to be shareable with the simplicity, security, and governance that customers expect

You will be the leader who makes that happen - working with service teams across all of AWS to bring resource sharing to every corner of the cloud.

What You'll Do
- Lead a high-performing team of Software Development Engineers building and operating AWS RAM, a foundational resource sharing service used by millions of AWS customers
- Own the resource sharing vision - drive the technical strategy to onboard every AWS resource type onto the RAM platform, expanding what customers can share and how they govern it
- Architect at scale - work hands-on with your engineers to design systems that are secure, highly available, and operate at AWS scale across all regions
- Be the connective force across AWS - partner with service teams organization-wide to integrate resource sharing into new and existing services, influencing how AWS thinks about cross-account collaboration
- Operational excellence - ensure the team maintains a high bar for availability, security, and performance as RAM serves as critical infrastructure for cross-account resource sharing
- Build and grow world-class talent - hire, mentor, and develop engineers at all levels; create an environment where people do the best work of their careers
