Their duties include implementing best practices, optimizing cloud resources, ensuring compliance, and coordinating cloud migration or integration projects. AWS Managers typically have a strong background in cloud computing, project management, and AWS-specific services. They play a key role in maximizing the benefits of AWS while minimizing risks and costs for their organization.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an AWS manager?

To thrive as an AWS Manager, you need deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, AWS services, architecture best practices, and often a background in computer science or IT. Familiarity with tools like AWS Management Console, CloudFormation, and relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are typically required.
