Job Title: Senior AWS Data Engineer Location: Newark, NJ / Remote Duration: 12 months Visa: USC or GC Skills Required: AWS, Machine Learning, Gen AI, Agentic AI, LLM, MLOps, SageMaker, AWS Certification Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer to join our AI/ML platform team. You will work with application and infrastructure developers to enhance AI/ML infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and resiliency for mission-critical applications. Responsibilities:
  • Optimize systems, build infrastructure, and automate workflows
  • Influence cloud application and security architecture
  • Peer-review infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, Terraform, Python)
  • Partner with teams on reusable cloud patterns and deployments
  • Develop monitoring, automation, and MLOps pipelines
  • Build frameworks and services using AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, and container tech
  • Implement LLMs, Agentic frameworks, and AI solutions
  • Define standards and governance for ML platform operations
  • Translate non-functional requirements into technical solutions
Technical Qualifications:
  • 5+ years AWS & AI/ML experience
  • Proficient in Python, Node.js, Bash/PowerShell
  • Experience with container orchestration (ECS, EKS, Docker)
  • Infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet)
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CodePipeline, Azure DevOps)
  • AWS foundational services, security, and IAM expertise
  • Familiarity with ETL/big data (Glue, Spark, EMR), relational DBs, and monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, Grafana)
  • Comfortable in Linux environment
