Overview

The AVP, Business Line Marketing & Growth is a senior marketing leader responsible for driving enterprise-wide growth initiatives across Wealthspire's business lines and client segments, including private wealth and institutional audiences. This role serves as the primary marketing partner to Business Line Leaders, Sales, and Sales Enablement, while directly managing Marketing Managers and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across the organization.

Reporting to the SVP, Business Line Marketing, this individual combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, translating firm and business-line priorities into actionable marketing plans that deliver measurable results. This role requires strong people leadership, communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of how marketing performance supports business growth.

Role Description

The AVP, Business Line Marketing & Growth owns the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that support Wealthspire's growth objectives across all business lines. This role leads and prioritizes marketing efforts enterprise-wide, balancing long-term strategy with near-term execution in close partnership with Sales, Sales Enablement, and Business Line leadership.

As a manager of marketing coordinators, this role is responsible for setting direction, establishing priorities, and ensuring alignment and accountability across Marketing Managers. While this position provides oversight and leadership, it is also expected to remain execution-capable, stepping in directly on high-impact initiatives, institutional opportunities, and strategic campaigns as needed.

This individual brings a strong understanding of both institutional and private client marketing and acts as a connective leader across Wealthspire, helping unify offerings, messaging, and go-to-market execution across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise & Business Line Leadership
  • Serve as the senior marketing partner to Business Line Leaders, collaborating closely to translate business objectives into integrated marketing strategies.
  • Partner with Sales and Sales Enablement to align marketing initiatives with revenue goals, pipeline development, and client acquisition strategies.
  • Contribute to enterprise-level growth planning by helping prioritize initiatives, allocate marketing resources, and sequence execution in alignment with firm strategy.
    
• People Management & Team Leadership
  • Directly manage and develop multiple Marketing Managers, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance oversight.
  • Set priorities and standards across the marketing organization to ensure consistency, quality, and accountability.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex initiatives, resource constraints, and cross-functional challenges.
    
• Strategy-to-Execution Ownership
  • Lead the planning and execution of enterprise and business-line marketing initiatives, including lead generation programs, institutional campaigns, strategic partnerships, and integrated go-to-market efforts.
  • Maintain the ability to execute directly on high-priority projects, ensuring momentum and excellence where senior involvement is required.
  • Oversee the development of integrated marketing plans that span channels such as events, sponsorships, advertising, content, digital campaigns, and client communications.
    
• Institutional & Private Client Marketing
  • Support marketing efforts across both institutional and private client segments, ensuring strategies and messaging are appropriately tailored while aligned under a cohesive firm narrative.
  • Provide guidance on positioning, thought leadership, and campaign development to support institutional relationships and complex client needs.
    
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the SVP and other leaders across Wealthspire to ensure marketing initiatives reflect a deep understanding of the firm's services, capabilities, and operating model.
  • Collaborate with corporate and centralized marketing teams to align brand standards, messaging frameworks, and campaign execution.
  • Engage and manage external vendors and partners to support large-scale initiatives and events as needed.
    
• Performance, Metrics & Optimization
  • Establish clear success metrics for enterprise and business-line marketing initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Review performance data and insights to optimize strategies, inform decision-making, and report results to senior leadership.
  • Ensure Marketing Managers are tracking and reporting outcomes consistently across initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, including experience supporting both institutional and private client audiences.
• Demonstrated success managing and developing people, preferably managing managers in a matrixed or enterprise environment.
• Strong strategic marketing background with the ability to translate complex business goals into actionable plans.
• Proven execution skills, with experience leading multiple, concurrent initiatives under tight timelines.
• Experience partnering closely with Sales and Sales Enablement teams.
• High level of comfort working cross-functionally and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Financial services or professional services experience strongly preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
