Job description

Radiology Partners, through its owned and affiliated practices, is a leading radiology practice in the U.S., serving hospitals and other healthcare facilities across the nation. As a physician-led and physician-owned practice, our mission is to transform radiology by innovating across clinical value, technology, service, and economics, while elevating the role of radiology and radiologists in healthcare. Using a proven healthcare services model, Radiology Partners provides consistent, high-quality care to patients, while delivering enhanced value to the hospitals, clinics, imaging centers and referring physicians we serve.

Radiology Partners is seeking a strategic, high-judgment leader to serve as AVP, Finance and Chief of Staff to the CFO. This role acts as a force multiplier for the CFO and broader enterprise by independently driving high-priority initiatives, shaping executive decision-making, and strengthening operating cadence. The ideal candidate is a versatile enterprise athlete who can move across strategy, finance, communications, analytics, and execution with autonomy and sound judgment. This person must lead workstreams independently, represent Finance & Accounting leadership with credibility, and bring structure and accountability to ambiguous, cross‑functional priorities.

AVP, FINANCE (CHIEF OF STAFF) - POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Independently own and drive high‑priority strategic and operational initiatives on behalf of the CFO, leading workstreams from problem definition through execution.
  • Lead operating cadence, planning processes, and cross‑functional follow‑through on key business and finance priorities, ensuring clear accountability and sustained execution.
  • Develop clear, high‑quality communications and executive‑level materials for senior leadership, board‑facing discussions, and other critical audiences.
  • Lead meetings, decision forums, and executive work sessions with or without the CFO present, helping frame issues, align stakeholders, and drive decisions on key enterprise priorities.
  • Identify issues, opportunities, and emerging risks early, and independently frame options, recommendations, and action plans for senior leadership. Create structure in ambiguous situations by clarifying objectives, defining work‑plans, assigning accountability, and driving follow‑through across teams.
  • Conduct routine and ad‑hoc analysis to inform decisions, address critical business questions, and identify actionable insights.
  • Build strong relationships across teams to align stakeholders, remove obstacles, and improve how work gets done through scalable, simplified processes.
  • Operate as a versatile enterprise athlete, flexing across strategy, communications, analytics, operating cadence, problem solving, and special projects as business needs evolve.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, strategic finance, or chief of staff roles.
  • Demonstrated success operating with senior executive stakeholders and leading complex initiatives with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Proven ability to independently lead cross‑functional work, influence outcomes beyond direct reporting lines, and translate strategy into disciplined execution.
  • Track record of succeeding in highly dynamic environments that require range, adaptability, strong judgment, and process improvement across diverse business issues.
  • Strong understanding of finance, business operations, and strategic planning within a complex, fast‑moving organization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear, executive‑level presentations, narratives, and messaging. Ability to lead through influence, align stakeholders, and drive cross‑functional work forward with clarity, accountability, and sound judgment.
  • High learning agility and versatility, with the ability to quickly get up the curve on new topics and contribute across a wide range of strategic, operational, and financial issues.
  • Ability to move fluidly between strategy and execution, balancing big‑picture thinking with strong follow‑through and attention to detail.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to loosely defined problems.
  • Strong independent judgment and the ability to make decisions, escalate appropriately, and drive outcomes with limited direction.
  • Ability to work with confidential information and represent senior leadership with credibility, maturity, executive presence, and a general athlete mindset.
  • Competitive Benefits package – Eligibility starts the month after hire, with tiered options to choose from.
  • Generous PTO Plans and Paid Holidays
  • Proudly Certified as a Great Place to Work for Five Consecutive Years
COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $185,000-$215,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to this range, Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, which include health & wellness coverage options, 401k benefits, and a broad range of other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
