• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to determine clients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the individual goals of each client.
• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling, utilizing appropriate therapeutic interventions that align with best practices in mental health treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and comprehensive client care through regular meetings and case discussions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering strictly to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development activities to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge base.

As an LPC at Avon Mental Health Counseling, you will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals facing various challenges such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, and mood disorders. Our therapeutic approach is designed to provide support and guidance tailored to the unique experiences of each client, fostering resilience and promoting personal growth.

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited program.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting both individual and group therapy in mental health settings.
• Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques suitable for various mental health issues.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A commitment to upholding ethical standards and client confidentiality at all times.

• Experience in treating addiction and managing trauma-related conditions.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention methods and strategies.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or education related to mental health awareness.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling best practices.

The salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
