Position – Avionics Craftsman II (Wire Harness Fabrication / Bench Technician)
Location: Denton, TX

We are currently seeking an experienced Avionics Craftsman II to support aircraft electrical and avionics manufacturing operations in Denton, TX. This role focuses on wire harness fabrication, bench assembly, electrical system integration, and avionics support activities in a production environment.

Summary

The Avionics Craftsman II is responsible for fabricating, assembling, testing, and troubleshooting aircraft wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electrical components. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting wiring diagrams, performing connector terminations, and supporting avionics manufacturing and installation projects while maintaining high quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fabricate aircraft wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform wire routing, wire bundling, connector installation, and harness assembly
  • Crimp, pin, depin, terminate, and install electrical connectors and wiring components
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Perform continuity testing and electrical verification of completed assemblies
  • Troubleshoot wiring discrepancies and identify corrective actions
  • Support avionics bench operations, assembly, and testing activities
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company quality standards and customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
  • Support production schedules and operational objectives
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in a clean and organized manner
  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
  • Other duties as assigned
