About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a skilled Avionics Installer to join their dynamic team. This role presents a remarkable opportunity for experienced avionics professionals passionate about innovation and technology in a thriving aviation environment. In this position, you'd be integral to executing advanced avionics installations and contributing to the enhancement of advanced aircraft systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret complex wiring diagrams, aircraft blueprints, and schematics with precision.
  • Wire, install, test, and verify the operation of avionics equipment and accessories.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electronics failures using hand tools and technical documents.
  • Fabricate or modify instrument panels and other hardware for avionics systems.
  • Adhere to FAA Repair Station Manual and FAA Regulations during installations.
  • Exercise sound judgment and expertise in job sequencing to maximize quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe and ethical work environment.
  • Handle equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds and work in shop/hangar environments.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a general aviation aircraft modification/completion shop.
  • Experience with Part 91/135 corporate/private aircraft.
  • Proficiency in executing complex avionics installations with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to plan and execute avionics installation projects efficiently.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and mentor team members.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Corridor software.
  • Must pass FAA-required drug test and background check.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or aviation electronics schooling preferred.
  • Preferred: AET Certificate and/or FAA Mechanic/Repairman’s Certificate.
