Job DescriptionOverview

We are seeking an Aviation Project Manager to join our team in Dallas, TX.

Serves as a senior aviation project manager and technical leader responsible for the planning, design, and delivery of airport infrastructure projects.Providesexpert guidance on airfield, landside, and airport development programs while leading multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project execution. Maintains accountability for project quality, financial performance, client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and successful delivery of airport capital improvement initiatives. Acts as a trusted advisor to airport owners, operators, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.

Your role

Project Leadership and Delivery:

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of aviation infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, hangars, utility systems, landside improvements, and other airport development initiatives.
  • Assume overall responsibility for project scope, schedule, budget,proposal development,quality, risk management, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop project execution strategies and oversee the preparation of project budgets, staffing plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate the efforts of internal staff, subconsultants, contractors, and technical specialists to achieve projectobjectives.
  • Ensure projects are deliveredin accordance withcontractual requirements, client expectations, company standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the firm at seminars and conferencespertaining toclients andaviationmarket.

Technical Leadership:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in aviation planning, design, construction, and airport operations.
  • Provide technical oversight for airfield and landside projects, reviewing engineering analyses, designs, plans, specifications, and project deliverables.
  • Evaluate technical challenges, develop practical and innovative solutions, and guide project teams through complex engineering issues.
  • Review project alternatives and recommend cost-effective solutions that support operational, safety, and strategic airportobjectives.
  • Ensure adherence to FAA requirements, industry best practices, engineering standards, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Assistin embedding constructability andcost/schedule savings into engineering solutions.

Client Management and Business Development:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for airport clients, regulatory agencies, funding partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Build andmaintaintrusted client relationships whileidentifyingopportunities to expand services and support long-term business growth.
  • Support airport sponsors in the development and implementation of capital improvement programs.
  • Provide guidance and support for grant applications, funding strategies, project prioritization, and regulatory coordination.
  • Represent the firm's multidisciplinary aviation capabilities in client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.

Construction and Program Support:

  • Provide oversight throughout project development, including conceptual planning, preliminary engineering, final design, bidding, construction administration, inspection oversight,closeout,and quality assurance activities.
  • Coordinate with airport management, contractors, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders during project implementation.
  • Support aviation clients with construction administration services, inspections, grant compliance requirements, and project closeout activities.
  • AssistTexas-area aviation clients with project funding requests, construction oversightwhich can include site visits, and capital improvement program execution.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for engineers, planners, designers, and technical staff.
  • Foster collaboration across disciplines while promoting technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Guideprojectteams in the development of preliminary and final engineering documents and technical deliverables.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, quality, and client service.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics, engineering practice, and corporate conduct.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies affecting airport planning, design, and construction.
  • Travel asrequired to support client needs, project delivery, business development activities, and project site visits within and outside the United States.
  • Perform other duties consistent with the scope and responsibilities of the position.
About you
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Texas P.E. license is required, or ability to obtain within six month.
  • A minimum of 10-years of aviation civil engineering or project management experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
