Job description

The Role

The Project Manager leads the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex Versaterm implementation projects for public safety clients, applying structured project management discipline to scope, schedule, budget, and risk. Working closely with Implementation Specialists, Data Migration & Integration Specialists, and Deployment teams, this role coordinates cross-functional resources to keep projects on track from kickoff through go-live and stabilization. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for project governance, providing clients and internal stakeholders with consistent visibility into status, risks, and milestones.

What You Do

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets for complex implementation engagements, tracking progress against milestones and adjusting as needed.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including Implementation Specialists, Data Migration & Integration Specialists, and Deployment Specialists, to align work efforts and timelines.
  • Manage project scope and change control, identifying and resolving scope deviations in collaboration with technical and client stakeholders.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, maintaining action logs and escalating as appropriate.
  • Facilitate project status meetings, steering committee updates, and governance forums with internal and client stakeholders.
  • Maintain project financials, including budget tracking, invoicing milestones, and revenue recognition activities.
  • Support client relationship management throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring expectations are clearly set and met.
  • Contribute to the refinement of project management tools, templates, and processes used across the implementation team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support team objectives and overall organizational priorities.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience managing complex software implementation projects, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Background in public safety, government technology, or mission-critical enterprise software is strongly preferred.
  • Specialist-level knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently across competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP certification preferred, or equivalent project management experience.
  • Experience with Police Records Management Systems (RMS), especially with Versaterm RMS is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and resource plans for enterprise-scale implementations.
  • Experience using AI tools as part of daily support workflows to enhance productivity, improve response quality, and support continuous learning.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as required by project needs.
