We are built on the core values of Safety, Respect, Quality, and Results, and we are looking for a Production Control Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate the flow of work cards, maintain shift and day work boards, and support communication between mechanics, inspectors, engineers, and material management. You will track parts availability, plan workloads, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and assist with customer work packages to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.

As a 24/7 operation, we have openings across all shifts—including standard day shifts, 2nd shift, weekend shifts, and 12-hour shifts. Candidates must be flexible and willing to be assigned to any shift based on operational needs.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the flow of the routine and non-routine work cards through the maintenance process.
  • Issues work cards according to the work plan and direction given by Production Manager prior to the beginning of each shift.
  • Prepares and maintains the subsequent shift and day work boards.
  • Provides coordination between mechanics, inspectors, engineers and material management for work in process on aircraft.
  • Updates status for parts availability and aircraft progress and reports information to maintenance mechanics and supervisors.
  • Review on order parts and received parts to coordinate and plan the workload man-hour requirements.
  • Coordinates the shift turn over requirements to keep planned productivity flowing on project.
  • Coordinates the planned project requirements with all assigned project skills including the back shop and external vendors as needed.
  • Coordinates, communicates and ensures that work scope, workflow and proper sequencing with Maintenance and Inspection take place.
  • Assist with the preparation and input of customer work packages when required.
  • Answers the telephone and practice good customer service while assisting, supporting and corresponding with customers.
  • Orders replacement tools as needed.
  • Ensures that proper documentation is made on training record, for training received, and signed by Lead, Supervisor or Manager.
  • Ensure all work performed is done in a safe manger
  • Direct activities to protect employees from harm and maintain safe working conditions.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:  

  • Capable of working independently or under supervision.
  • Flexibility to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and mathematical proficiency.
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying technical data relevant to the position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years material/warehouse experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English, including following verbal and written instructions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level.
  • Occasional crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

  • Work primarily occurring in the Production Control Booth.

OTHER DUTIES: 

  • May be required to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.
  • Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of department management.
