  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM (+$1.00/hour shift differential)
  • 3rd Shift: 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM (+$2.00/hour shift differential)
Job Description

We are seeking a hardworking and safety-focused Material Handler to join a growing industrial waste processing and recycling operation in Henderson, CO. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, outdoor environments, and opportunities for career growth.

This facility processes both solid and liquid waste from industrial and residential sources and specializes in solvent recycling, fuels blending, storage, and waste treatment. Material Handlers play a critical role in receiving, processing, transporting, and decontaminating containers and materials while maintaining compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and process incoming waste materials and containers
  • Load and unload drums, totes, trailers, tankers, and other containers
  • Perform container decontamination and cleaning activities
  • Dispose of empty drums and containers in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines
  • Generate and maintain manifests and related documentation
  • Conduct general labor and housekeeping duties throughout the facility
  • Assist with waste handling, storage, and processing operations
  • Operate in a safe manner while following all company policies and procedures
  • Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, industrial operations, transloading, oil & gas, warehouse operations, or airport ramp/tarmac environments
  • Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle drums, containers, and materials
  • Computer proficiency required, including email and basic communication platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
