JOB TITLE: Weight Operations Technician

LOCATION: Everett, WA

RATE: $36.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier clients.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Position Summary:

  • Develop inventory equipment lists, conduct inventories, weigh aircraft, determine aircraft center of gravity, and document results.

  • Prepare Chapter 2 of the Weight and Balance Manual.

  • Balance flight control surfaces.

  • Develop standard flight load planning and assist with airplane loading of variable load elements.

  • Support aircraft inspections to calculate the effects of actual weight and variable load placement on gross weight and center of gravity.

  • Prepare flight manifests for pilot signatures and flight release.

  • Weigh and determine centers of gravity for components and assemblies.

  • Resolve routine issues related to equipment, components, and weighing systems.

  • Work under general supervision in a team environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 1+ years of experience with technical analysis.

  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 1+ years of experience in aircraft operations or maintenance.

  • Associate degree or higher.

  • Experience with aircraft weight and center of gravity estimation, calculation, verification, and statistical analysis.

  • Experience with Loadmaster training.
