Job Description:
The Aviation Military Analyst provides expertise in Army attack and reconnaissance aviation operations, capability development, combat development, and future force modernization. This position supports operational studies, capability-based assessments, technology evaluations, and requirements development efforts focused on Army Aviation attack, reconnaissance, and assault operations. The analyst collaborates with Joint and Army stakeholders, leads working groups and study teams, and develops high-quality analytical products, including white papers, concept papers, operational views, requirements documents, and other decision-support materials.
Job Requirements:
  • Rated Army Aviator with a minimum of 12 years of Army Aviation flight and combat operations experience.
  • Senior or Master Army Aviator Badge required.
  • Experience in flight standardization within Army attack and reconnaissance aviation organizations ranging from 35 to 600 personnel.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting capability management, combat development, or capability development initiatives.
  • Experience planning, facilitating, and executing Joint Working Groups.
  • Experience leading Future Aviation studies and/or operational test events involving capability development and technology evaluations.
  • Ability to independently develop graduate-level analytical products, including white papers, concept papers, requirements documents, and operational views.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess operational capabilities, identify gaps, and develop recommendations supporting Army Aviation modernization and future force requirements.
  • Experience as a Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP), Instructor Pilot (IP), Maintenance Examiner (ME), or Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) in Army attack and reconnaissance aircraft.
  • Tactical operational staff experience supporting attack, reconnaissance, or assault mission planning, training, and execution in organizations ranging from 400 to 2,800+ personnel.
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
