CEI is growing and we have an exciting opportunity for an Aviation Engineer/PE to join our team in serving our aviation clients! CEI is one of the Southwest?s most reputable Construction Management (CM), Construction Administration (CA) and inspection firms.  We provide quality services to clients throughout the Southwest. 

CEI is a Top Workplace, for seasoned PE?s and inspectors in construction management. We also offer training to newer PE?s in various transportation, utilities, aviation, and vertical construction projects.

Job Requirements

As an Aviation Engineer you will lead and manage aviation construction for airport projects including runway extensions, reconstruction of runways, taxiways, aprons and possible vertical infrastructure such as hangars.

Manage budgets and schedules for assigned airport projects and be the client contact to city airport officials and stakeholders.

Responsible for the construction management and oversite of airport construction.

Serves as a client contact to airport boards/commissions and airport clients as assigned.

Coordinates construction administration and monitors all documentation requirements with field staff and daily documentation.

Assists with the training and development of professional and technical inspection staff.

Travels periodically to work sites and other project related locations.

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Licensed Professional Engineer

1-5 years? experience in the civil engineering field within construction management/contract administration/inspection of public works projects.

Airport infrastructure would be nice to have but training is provided.
