Medical Associates Clinic, a physician-owned multi-specialty area leading healthcare group with 200+ providers and 100 years of service in Dubuque, is seeking a CRNA to join our anesthesia team. www.mahealthcare.com

Schedule & Lifestyle
  • Average of 15 weekday shifts + 1 weekend shift per month

Practice Setting
  • Two locations within 10 minutes: Tri-State Surgery Center & MercyOne Hospital
  • Broad case mix: general, ortho, urology, peds, podiatry, OB/gyn, and endoscopy procedures. No heads or hearts.
  • Practice independently with physician support as needed
  • Do your own lines, blocks, spinals, and epidurals.
  • In house coverage for epidurals is not required.

CRNA Responsibilities:
  • Deliver anesthesia care across a wide variety of cases (general, MAC, blocks, epidurals, etc.)
  • Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff for optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on anesthesia and post-care
  • Contribute to policy and protocol development

Physical Aspects:
Reaching - Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Standing - Particularly for sustained periods of time.
Lifting - Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.
Fingering - Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling.
Grasping - Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
Feeling - Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
Talking - Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.
Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sound with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make fine discriminations in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on machined parts.
Vision - 20 / 40 or better in the best eye with or without correction.
Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 pounds force constantly to move objects.
Environmental Conditions
Subject to Physical Hazards - Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
