About the Role
Hello Special Education Teachers! Come work with a woman and therapist run company doing what you love! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Tappahannock, VA. We're seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.

What You'll Do
  • Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
  • Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
  • Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field
  • Active Missouri Special Education Teacher license
  • Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred
