Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Neurohospitalist in Youngstown, OH
Join a dynamic team at a leading health facility located in Youngstown, Ohio. The hospital is seeking a locum Neurohospitalist to provide on-call coverage from June 22nd through June 29th, with potential for ongoing dates. You will have the opportunity to work in a facility known for its commitment to patient care, utilizing top-notch technology and facilities.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-call coverage for Neurohospitalist services.
  • Manage an average of 9-10 admissions per day.
  • Oversee 10 ICU patients and provide care along all adult floors.
  • Interpret radiologic exams and perform required neurology procedures including EEGs and EMGs.
  • Manage ventilation and evaluate acute volume/BP issues.
  • Treat conditions such as autoimmune encephalitis, refractory epilepsy, and primary/secondary brain cancers.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Neurology (REQUIRED).
  • Active Ohio medical license (REQUIRED).
  • Hold BLS and ACLS certifications (REQUIRED).
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required at time of credentialing.
  • Self-Query NPDB report must be presented, dated within 30 days.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certification (REQUIRED).
  • Ohio Medical License (REQUIRED).
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (REQUIRED).
  • COVID-19 vaccination (REQUIRED).
  • Flu vaccination at the time of credentialing (REQUIRED).
