Job description

Position Summaryย 

The Outside Production Builder Sales Representative isย a part of Bellmont Cabinetโ€™s Stile & Rail Division,ย whoseย primaryย focusย isย on driving growth and building strong relationships with regional home builders.ย ย ย 

Key Duties & Responsibilitiesย 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with production builder customers, including purchasing teams, construction managers, and design centers.
  • Retain and grow market share within assigned production builder accounts by positioning Bellmont as the preferred cabinetry partner.
  • Maintain full ownership and accountability for the performance and success of your production builder territory.
  • Professional sales skills with a strong understanding of production builder sales cycles, including program development, community onboarding, and long-term account management.
  • Ability to navigate high-pressure situations common in construction environments and serve as a steady, solutions-focused liaison.
  • Exceptional work ethic, strong financial motivation, and an entrepreneurial mindset suited for building and expanding production builder programs.
  • Proficiency with 2020, Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Teams, and Excel for managing builder activity, community pipelines, reporting, and communication.
  • Ability to develop new production builder customers through proactive outreach including job-site visits, model home meetings, cold calls, lunch-and-learn presentations, and community targeted prospecting.
  • Experience with 2020 Design or similar CAD software is a plus, especially for supporting builder design centers and layout needs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple production builder accounts, project timelines, and daily priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and insurability under company policy, with the ability to travel regularly to job sites, builder offices, and community locations.
  • Represent and promote Bellmont Cabinet Company product lines and the value we deliver to regional and national builder partners.ย 
  • Driveย sales growth within assigned builder accounts and territories to meet sales goals and programย objectives.ย 
  • Approach each day with an entrepreneurial mindset and dedication to achieving both sales targets and personal financial goals.ย 

Skill & Knowledge Requirementsย 

  • Professional sales skills with a strong understandingย ofย productionย builder sales cycles, including program development, community onboarding, and long-term account management.ย

  • Understanding ofย the home building industry, construction phases, cabinetry installation processes, and materials such as wood species, laminates, and other building materials relevant to cabinetry applications.ย 
  • Ability to develop newย productionย builder customers through proactive outreach including job-site visits, model home meetings, cold calls, lunch-and-learn presentations, and community targeted prospecting.ย 

Qualificationsย 

  • 5+ years of experience in builder sales, cabinet design, or project management within the Kitchen & Bath or residential construction industry.ย 
  • Proven sales and closing abilities, with strong problem-solving skills suited for resolving issues that arise in fast-paced builder and construction environments.ย 
  • Demonstratedย track recordย of results-driven performance, attention to detail, and a competitive drive to grow builder accounts.ย 
  • Above-averageย proficiencyย with Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word, and Salesforce for managing builder pipelines, reporting, forecasting, and communication.ย 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with builder executives,ย purchasingย departments, superintendents, designers, subcontractors, and internal Bellmont teams.ย 
  • Strong understanding of residential construction processes,ย remodeling, carpentry fundamentals, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, cabinet layouts, and construction documents.ย 
  • Experience with 2020 Designย orย similar CADย software is a plus, especially for supporting builder design centers and layout needs.ย 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multipleย productionย builder accounts, project timelines, and daily priorities in a dynamic environment.ย 
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and insurability under company policy, with the ability to travel regularly to job sites, builder offices, and community locations.ย 

Education andย Experienceย 

  • 4-year college degree is preferred. Applicable industry experience will also be considered.ย 
  • Sales and Territory Management experience preferred.ย
