Job description

Cefla Technician

Purpose

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cefla Technician to join our high-performing Finish Department. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, possess a keen eye for detail, and are eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Youโ€™ll utilize specialized finishing tools and work with high-end finishes as part of a dedicated team focused on producing cabinetry that exceeds Bellmontโ€™s quality standards.

Who You Are

Youโ€™re a motivated Cefla Technician with a solid foundation in finishing and surface preparation, looking to join a high-performing team where your skills are valued and your career can grow. You take pride in scuffing and handling cabinet components with precision, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. Youโ€™re not just looking for another jobโ€”you want to be part of a company where craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement are part of the culture.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Scuff cabinet components to enhance the natural wood grain texture.
  • Identify surface or coating defects on parts and determine appropriate repairs.
  • Unload cabinet components from the finishing line and load them onto carts for transfer to the next stage of production.
  • Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to support production flow and maintain high finish quality.
  • Maintain your work area to ensure safety, efficiency, and finish integrity.
  • Share ideas for improving processes and outcomesโ€”we value technicians who think critically and take ownership.

Bellmont Cabinet Co. is an Equal Opportunity Employer

What You Bring

  • Prior finishing, painting, or woodworking experience is a plus; however, your eagerness to learn and strong work ethic are what truly matter. We provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
  • Ability to recognize and resolve common finishing issues, including areas that have been sanded too much or not enough, as well as surface imperfections.
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
  • Ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate and report quality concerns.
  • Comfortable reading production schedules, job cards, and chemical labels.
  • A good eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Why Bellmont

At Bellmont Cabinets, we donโ€™t just build cabinetsโ€”we build careers. We invest in our people through training, advancement opportunities, and a collaborative environment where your skills make a real difference. Youโ€™ll join a team of professionals who are proud of what they do and passionate about craftsmanship.

Benefits include:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Full health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Career growth opportunities
  • A clean, safe, supportive work environment
