Retail Advisors are passionate about the Aveda mission, hair, spa, and translating this passion to our guests and students. The position works with a multidisciplinary team to share beauty, fashion and wellness - all through the power of touch, while also driving sales to meet established goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently perform the Aveda Guest Service Cycle to ensure guests have an excellent experience.
  • Maintain Average Sales of at least fifty five dollars.
  • Ensure "on-time" service flow through effective utilization of the Salon Biz Appointment Booking
  • Manage all incoming call volume to ensure that PCH remains below 5%
  • Provide hair and wellness expertise and excellent service to guests, while achieving established sales goals
  • Ensure each guest is offered a ritual of renewal during every visit, which may include a hand treatment, make-up application and/or neck and shoulder massage.
  • Serve as a role model to students and a resource for all, regarding Aveda product knowledge and creating an excellent Aveda Service Cycle
  • Ensure the retail experience center is "guest ready" at all times.
  • Participate in monthly inventory.
  • Present and reinforce a professional appearance at all times, in accordance with the Aveda Institute dress code.
  • Attend meetings as required, which may involve minimal travel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Due to our commitment to the environment, a strong alignment to the Aveda mission is.
  • One year experience in retail or guest services, cosmetic experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Exceptional organizational
  • Ability to attend and satisfactorily complete all company education as
  • Ability to work retail hours including weekends, holidays and special events as needed.
  • Computer experience including retail point of sale.
