AVAC Child Care

Love kids of all ages? AVAC is looking for a fun, passionate, dedicated, and at times goofy team members to join our growing Child Care facility. Child Care workers lead games, activities, songs, and more for children of 8 weeks - 14 years. Child Care represents the AVAC brand and level of service in early childhood care, child development, and customer services.

Compensation:

$18 - $21 Opportunities for additional compensation for experienced applicants who bring their talents to AVAC.

Minimum Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • LOVES children. Loves watching them learn, play, talk, sing, and get excited. Welcomes the challenge when they cry, fall down, pout, talk back, and struggle with tough days.
  • Is always focused on the children. For children and parents alike, a Child Care team member is calm, collected, friendly, playful, and professional.
  • Understands the basics of child development of various age groups from 2 months to 14 years.
  • Is comfortable caring, holding, diaper changing for infants while also being able to engage in age appropriate activities for older children.
  • Understands basic child development skills including social development, appropriate discipline, and safety.

· Availability evenings and weekends

· Trustline registry and background check

· CPR/AED/First Aid within your first 60 days
