EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE SKILLS & ABILITIES

EDUCATION

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Audio Visual Technology, Broadcast Media, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field is preferred; equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, and relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • Industry certifications (CTS, Dante, Q-SYS, Crestron, OSHA 10, Lift Certifications, etc.) are highly desirable and may be considered when determining career level placement.

EXPERIENCE

Viticus Group is hiring for multiple career levels within our Audio Visual Technician Career Pathway. Candidates will be evaluated based on their overall qualifications and may be placed into the level that best aligns with their demonstrated experience, technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and operational readiness.

Typical experience guidelines include:

  • AV Technician I: 0–2 years of professional Audio Visual or live event production experience.
  • AV Technician II: 3–9 years of progressively responsible Audio Visual experience with demonstrated ability to independently support events and troubleshoot technical systems.
  • AV Technician III / Senior: 10+ years of advanced Audio Visual experience with expertise in complex event production, technical leadership, mentoring, and operational planning.

Career level placement is determined through a comprehensive evaluation of each candidate, including:
