Leidos is a FORTUNE 500 company bringing innovation to national security, engineering, and health industries.

The Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a highly qualified Unified Communications (UC) Lead to support the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) Enterprise Pacific IT C5 Solutions (EPICS) program at Ft. Shafter, HI. The UC Lead will oversee multi-disciplinary projects to ensure the customerโ€™s communication and network infrastructure remains robust and reliable.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage and integrate AV, network technologies in support of missionโ€‘critical operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive innovation to enhance performance and reliability of AV, VTC, UC, and network systems.
  • Technical planning, system hardwareโ€‘softwareโ€‘network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding.
  • Evaluate alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and total system analysis.
  • Perform systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 12โ€‘15 years of prior relevant experience or Masterโ€™s with 10โ€‘13 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated โ€œAdvanced Technical Expertiseโ€ or certification in accordance with DoD 8140.03.
  • Possess a Secret (S) clearance.
Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience engineering and implementing multiโ€‘disciplinary projects and designing local, regional, WAN, and network systems supporting voice, video, data, and imagery information.
  • Avixa Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or equivalent AV certification (e.g., Extron AV Associate, Harman Professional Training, AMX Certified Expert (ACE)).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams of network engineers, with expertise in applying DoD Information Assurance (IA) policies and guidelines to network architecture design, configuration, and implementation.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Audioโ€‘Visual (AV) programming at intermediate to advanced levels of complexity, including at least 3 years of handsโ€‘on experience working with DoD networks.
