The Audio Visual Company (AVCO) is seeking a Senior AV Field Engineer to commission and program advanced commercial AV systems throughout Hawaii.
What You'll Do
- Program and commission integrated AV systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot:
- Crestron
- Extron
- Biamp
- Q-SYS
- BSS
- Commission DSP, control, switching, video distribution, and conferencing systems.
- Configure AV networks including VLANs, Dante, multicast, and managed switches.
- Perform system verification and final acceptance testing.
- Train customers during project turnover.
- Support Service and Engineering on complex troubleshooting assignments.
- Mentor junior technicians and field engineers.
Required Experience
- 5+ years in commercial AV integration.
- Demonstrated programming experience with:
- Crestron
- Extron
- Biamp
- Q-SYS
- BSS
- Strong troubleshooting and commissioning experience.
- Understanding of AV networking fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer communication.
Preferred certifications include CTS, CTS-I, Dante, Q-SYS, Extron, or Crestron certifications.
