Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Audio Visual CAD Engineer to join our growing AV Integration team. The ideal candidate has experience producing AV design documentation, understands low-voltage building systems, and is comfortable collaborating with engineers, project managers, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Produce complete AV drawing packages (floor plans, device layouts, conduit and cable routing drawings, signal flow diagrams, etc.)
  • Develop coordinated drawing sets from architectural backgrounds
  • Review project specifications and contract documents to ensure drawing compliance
  • Maintain drawing revisions throughout project development and construction
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of CAD drafting experience and a minimum of 2 years producing commercial AV drawings
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
