Simulation Learning Center Operations Manager

School of Health Sciences

St. Edward's University of Austin, Texas invites applications for the position of Simulation Learning Center Operations Manager. The Simulation Learning Center Operations Manager provides comprehensive technical and operational support for the School of Health Sciences clinical simulation suites and skills labs. This role is responsible for the day-to-day readiness of healthcare training environments, ensuring that all simulation equipment, manikins, and computer hardware/software are functional and optimized for student learning. The manager plays a vital role in facilitating the set-up, management, and organization of supplies, technology, and support for faculty/student teaching and learning in the simulation center.

For consideration, 

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's degree in healthcare, biomedical technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience: One to two years of related experience in healthcare simulation-based technology or an allied health profession (e.g., EMT, CNA, LPN).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS 365, AV systems, and networked computer equipment.
  • Compliance: Ability to adhere to HIPAA, FERPA, and ADA guidelines regarding patient health records and student privacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, simulation technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with specific simulation software (examples might include Gaumard, Leardal LLEAP, CAE LearningSpace).
  • Familiarity with Google services, in addition to MS 365.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
