Job Summary

The Senior AV Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for audiovisual services across two client sites located in Boston, MA and 1 client site in New Haven, CT. This role oversees the delivery of high-quality AV support, leveraging state-of-the-art technology and managing a team of AV professionals to ensure exceptional service and execution.

The Senior AV Manager will drive operational excellence, client satisfaction, and alignment with organizational standards while supporting the evolving technology needs of both locations. This is a fully onsite position requiring a regular presence five days per week to effectively lead operations, support team members, and maintain strong client partnerships across the assigned sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots processes to provide solutions for presentation needs under high-pressure circumstances and conferences
  • Supervises, motivates, and trains staff
  • Tracks equipment inventory and controls as well as SLA compliance 
  • Ensures room check inspections and regular preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment
  • Creates proposals for new AV equipment, services, or staffing as requested or needed
  • Identifies continuous improvement processes for seamless customer service 
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • Minimum of six years' work experience in an audio visual manager or supervisor role
  • CTS Certification a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of integrated AV systems
  • Proactive mindset to anticipate and support changes in our business
  • Superior quantitative, oral and written communications and problem-solving/strategizing skills
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Ability to move conference room tables, chairs and lift 50 pounds as needed
