Job description

Be Part of the Autonomous Vehicle Revolution

Our client, a leading autonomous vehicle company, is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Readiness & Response Operator 1 (RR1) to help keep their test fleet safe, prepared, and ready for engineering operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a front-row seat to how autonomous vehicle technology gets built and tested — combining physical vehicle work with technical precision. Some experience with autonomous vehicles is a plus, but a strong safety mindset and attention to detail matter most.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare vehicles for testing through detailed inspections, including software and hardware verification
  • Clean sensors and charge vehicles to ensure they're fully mission-ready
  • Confirm each vehicle meets strict engineering standards before it hits the road
  • Support fleet logistics by moving vehicles and equipment between locations
  • Assist with recovery events and manage supplies as needed
  • Help launch new test sites, contributing to the growth of the program

What You Bring

  • A safety-first mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Comfort following detailed, structured processes
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to balance hands-on physical work with technical tasks
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology
  • Experience with autonomous vehicles or similar technology preferred

Shift Details

  • Training (first 8 weeks): Mon–Fri, AM (7:30 AM–4:00 PM) or PM (3:30 PM–12:00 AM)
  • Official Schedules (post-training):
    • Option 1: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
    • Option 2: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

Why This Role

This is more than a job — it's a front-row seat to the future of transportation. You'll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology while developing technical, operational, and customer service skills in a fast-growing industry.
