Robot Service Technician (Onsite – Bowling Green, OH)


Location: Bowling Green, OH, United States

Work Environment: In-person

Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Source One Technical Solutions is seeking a hands-on, versatile Robot Service Technician to support the production, maintenance, and repair of self-driving delivery robots. This role is ideal for candidates with automotive, manufacturing, or technical repair experience who enjoy working with mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced environment.


In this role, you will work across production, maintenance, field support, and R&D activities to help ensure the reliability and performance of autonomous delivery robots.


Responsibilities:


Production and Assembly:

  • Assemble harnesses, cables, and connectors for self-driving delivery robots.
  • Install and replace sensors including LiDAR, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors.


Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair work on robot fleets.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and execute service campaigns.
  • Test and troubleshoot components such as suspensions, batteries, and electrical systems.


Field Support:

  • Travel between local sites to provide onsite technical support as needed.
  • Assist with inventory management, rapid prototyping, and testing activities.


Research and Development Support:

  • Support R&D teams with experiments and new product development initiatives.


Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive, manufacturing, dealership service, or similar technical environments.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and interpret technical components.
  • Comfortable assembling and disassembling mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean MVR (last 12 months).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Comfortable working in field-based environments.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced computer literacy.
  • Soldering experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
