Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
MEPPI is looking for a Quality Systems Program Manager to drive and strengthen our enterprise-wide Quality Management System (QMS). This role will partner across MEPPI's business divisions to advance quality best practices, drive continuous improvement, strengthen supplier quality, and support compliance with ISO standards.
What You'll Do
  • Quality Leadership: Lead MEPPI's Quality Management System across all divisions and maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute the long-term quality strategy to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Audit Management: Lead internal, external, and certification audits while ensuring ongoing certification readiness.
  • Performance Measurement: Monitor quality metrics and KPIs, including cost of quality, corrective actions, supplier performance, and field incidents.
  • Executive Partnership: Provide quality insights, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership and the Company President.
  • Systems Administration: Serve as the corporate administrator and functional expert for the QT9 electronic Quality Management System.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead cross-divisional initiatives that standardize processes, improve data consistency, and establish best practices.
  • Supplier Quality: Develop and maintain supplier qualification, evaluation, audit, and performance management programs.
  • Training & Development: Coach and train employees on auditing techniques, risk assessment methodologies, and quality system requirements.
  • Compliance Oversight: Maintain corporate quality policies and procedures to ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Bring
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in quality management, supplier quality, engineering, manufacturing, or operations.
  • ISO Expertise: Advanced knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 standards and certification requirements.
  • Audit Leadership: Demonstrated success leading internal, external, and registrar audits.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with quality systems, supplier quality programs, corrective action processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Systems Experience: Experience administering an Electronic Quality Management System, preferably QT9.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Leadership Capability: Ability to influence stakeholders, lead change, and drive results across multiple business functions.
  • Professional Credentials: ASQ certifications and/or Lead Auditor certification preferred.
