What awaits you
- Be responsible for the cost analysis and cost understanding of main bought-in products
- Ensure the understanding of component pricing within the organization
- Assist Program Purchasing and Commodity Leads to understand costs associated with quality / part design / supply chain
- Support innovative, cost-conscious solutions together with Purchasing, Engineering, Sales and other program functions
- Write contracts for bought-in products and responsible for creating Purchase Orders and Scheduling Agreement
- Drive use of cost estimation tools e.g. through training of Buyers worldwide
- Develop cost reduction ideas through close collaboration with different functions within the organization
- Generate total landed costs improvements through initialization of workshops at suppliers
- Identify and execute cost optimizations within the commodities
- Understand the tooling cost for bought-in components
- Execute tooling audits and evaluate deviation between invoiced and KT estimated cost
Qualifications
What you'll need to succeed:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's with a focus in Purchasing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics
- Business Experience in the Automotive Industry will be preferred
- Knowledge in Value-, Design- and Price Analysis
- Ideally Software Skills in Excel, ERP Systems - SAP, E-Matrix; Sharepoint, etc
- Professional competencies required: Learning on the Fly, Compassion, Dealing with Ambiguity, Drive for Results, Organization
