Job description

Hyundai of Kirkland is rapidly expanding, and to support our continued growth, we are actively seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our Service Department. Our recently remodeled facility features 24 fully equipped service stalls, providing an efficient and modern work environment. Each technician is guaranteed a minimum of one dedicated bay, and all manufacturer-required special tools are supplied by the dealership.
We are committed to supporting career development and ongoing training. Technicians have access to both Hyundai online and in-person factory training. All online courses are paid, and we offer 8 hours of compensation for each day of in-person training. We also strive to be flexible with your schedule and do our best to provide financial support throughout your training process.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Job Responsibilities
  • Diagnose automotive problems as they arise
  • Conducting inspections, repairing engine failure, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, replacing parts
  • Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout repair/servicing process
  • Warranty and recall work
  • Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team

Schedule: Monday to Friday (7:00 AM to 4:30 PM)
We will be switching to 4-10s once we are fully staffed!

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Qualifications
  • 1-3 years automotive repair/diagnostic experience
    • Hyundai Certified mandatory
  • Driver's License
  • Personal Tools

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
