Job description

Tire & Lube Technician

As a Tire & Lube Technician, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Wilks Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering an outstanding customer experience.Youwillalsobecome familiarwithhow tomount and balance tires,perform oil changes,andconductadditional automotive preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Learn howto complete basicautomotiveserviceslikemounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, filtersreplacements, and more.
  • Trainwith mid and senior level automotive technicians to learnadditional automotive services.
  • Promote teamwork to deliver onguestexpectations
  • Maintain strict adherence tocompanypolicy on vehicle care and operation
  • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Help keep shop clean and organized
  • Maintaining a Professional Appearance

Basic Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's licenseand good driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HighSchoolDiploma or GED
  • Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience
  • Previous formal automotive training
