Job description

The Lucid Training Manager leads the design, execution, and continuous improvement of technical and operational training programs that develop a high-performing Automotive EV service (aftersales) workforce. This role builds scalable learning frameworks, manages instructor capability, and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure training outcomes align with safety, customer experience, and service quality standards across Lucid operations.

Core Responsibilities
  • Define and execute annual training strategy for technical roles, aligned to Lucid growth plans and operational priorities.
  • Manage and coach technical trainers and subject matter contributors to improve instructional quality and training consistency.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Quality, EHS, and Service Leadership to translate vehicle updates and field learnings into training content.
  • Standardize training governance, version control, and content release processes to maintain program integrity.
  • Support launch readiness for new models, systems, and service procedures through targeted training plans.
  • Conduct regular training audits and site observations to validate implementation quality and coaching needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement through trainee feedback, field defect trends, and post-training performance analysis.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in technical training, learning operations, or workforce development in automotive, EV, or similar technical environments.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience managing trainers, facilitators, or cross-functional learning programs.
  • Demonstrated experience building role-based curricula and competency frameworks for frontline technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of EV systems, diagnostics, safety practices, and service operations workflows.
  • Experience using LMS platforms and reporting tools to manage completion, compliance, and effectiveness metrics.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to leadership, trainers, and frontline teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Education, Organizational Development, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Training certifications such as CPTD, ATD, or equivalent instructional design credentials.
  • Experience with blended learning models including instructor-led, virtual, simulation, and hands-on lab formats.
